Borealis gibt bindendes Angebot an GNP zur Akquisition von PEC-Rhin

25.11.2011, Borealis, ein führender Anbieter innovativer Lösungen in den Bereichen Basischemikalien und Kunststoffe, hat ein bindendes Angebot an GPN abgegeben, um 100% der Anteile an PEC-Rhin zu erwerben. GPN, das 50% der Anteile an PEC-Rhin hält, hat sein Vorkaufsrecht für den Erwerb der restlichen 50% von BASF SE ausgeübt.

Nach der Abgabe des bindenden Angebots werden die betroffenen Arbeitnehmervertreter informiert und zu dem geplanten Verkauf der Anteile an Borealis konsultiert. Die Transaktion steht unter dem Vorbehalt der Genehmigung durch die zuständigen Wettbewerbsbehörden.
